Who IS Ethereal Designs?

That would be me, Jana, the owner and designer. You'll find a photo on our "About" page with my husband, Scott, born and raised in the Minocqua community. Although this 100% woman-owned business is my "project," Scott is always ready to support anyway he can. Whether it was the establishment of a new walk-in cooler or assistance with arbor installations, he is my "involuntary volunteer", my "right-hand man" and "unemployeed employee" who has my back 24/7. He's the builder who supports my new, creative, and sometimes crazy ideas and has been my biggest cheerleader along this venture from day one. Ask me if I can do something and 99% of the time I will tell you it's not impossible, but we may need to add a little spin on things to get your ideas to come to fruition! I live and breathe for a level of unparelleled creativity that will stun customers, clients, and their guests... and sometimes even myself!

What is a studio? 

It is simply a unique and cost effective way to provide product and service as so many other businesses have opted towards since COVID. We do not have the overhead as a traditional storefront, therefore, we can pass on savings to you! Ethereal Designs is a licensed business and verified by Google. We are located at 905 Lemma Creek Road in Woodruff, WI. You'll find our beautiful sign on our property and we promise you won't miss it!

Is the studio open to the public?

While our doors are not open to walk-in customers, we provide curbside pick up and delivery. We offer consults for clients at their residence or we simply meet to enjoy a coffee or beverage at a favorite local business to discuss needs for the event or service. Beverages are always complimentary for our clients!

Do home studios provide the same quality of product as storefront florists do?

YES!!! ...and then some! We work with companies and farms just as a traditional florist would to provide the freshest and most unique flowers for your stunning bouquets and arrangements. Our focus at Ethereal Designs is two fold. We strive to provide beautiful flowers for our customers and clients as well as engage in essential practices required for proper floral care as any other florist would. Our walk-in cooler has a state of the art cooling system. We sanitize buckets, process flowers, and utilize products to prolong the life of your floral as any florist would. Fresh designs are created within hours of the order going out the door. You won't find your traditional florist at their storefront at 3 am! It's true. Sometimes the wee hours of the morning are the most creative times! Pre-made bouquets and arrangements are not in our possession, however, we strive to have arrangements done and out the door within an hour or less for your curbside pick up. Have you checked your vases lately? Ours are clean and the water is clear. Our arrangements leave this studio in nothing less than in prestine condition. If you ask anyone who knows me, they'll tell you how meticulous I am. If it doesn't feel right, it doesn't leave the doorstep until it has met my standards.

How do I select a bouquet or an arrangement if I can't shop in your studio?

As the business evolves, we continually create designs for customers and clients. These are then offered on the product page on our website. If you're not feeling the vibe from any of these designs, give us a call and we can talk about what inspires you or your recipient to create something unique! Send a text of your inspiration and we'll work with you to finalize the design. If it helps, read through our reviews. Our gold standard and 5 star reviews will put you at ease.

What if I like flowers on your website, but it doesn't fit in my budget?

Call us! We can recreate that bouquet or an arrangement to fit your needs. Have an open mind that it may not look exactly as pictured, and substitute flowers may need to be incorporated, but we'll do our best to provide flowers with the same vibe your looking for. We actually do this often. Not everyone has the same budget needs and we understand that. It is important to us that you get a quality bouquet without a shocking sticker price and that we agree to a price point BEFORE you order from us.

I bet flowers from a home studio is MORE expensive!

NO. We have the ability to provide the same flowers in our arrangements as other florists as we order from similar or same companies and farms. Do we love to offer unique and jazzy blooms? YES!!! If you have a budget, we'll work within that budget to create an arrangement that will be beautiful. Although we adore lavish garden roses and peonies, we can provide the same look with other beautiful blooms! Options are nearly limitless! CUSTOM DOES NOT MEAN EXPENSIVE.

Are you just a florist?

We love to offer options to our customers and clients. With our creative eye and boundless ideas, we are ready for anything! We love to try new ideas and fulfill those visions so they become reality for your special occasion, holiday or event. We offer online products and you may order from our website or simply call us to place your order over the phone. Ethereal designs has provided gorgeous floral for private parties, events, weddings, and funerals. We offer other services for the hectic holidays to take a little stress off your plate. If you don't have time to get those glimmering ornaments on the tree or hang garland around your doorstep, let Ethereal provide the support you need to make your home or business beautiful for this special time of the year. We will gladly incorporate fresh items upon request.

Can we order flowers for memorials?

Absolutely. We have items online for funeral services and we continue to add designs as our website evolves. Calling us directly ensures that you'll have beautiful floral for any event. We work with Bolger Cremation & Funeral Services as well as Nimsgern Funeral & Cremation Services. Ethereal Designs will work directly with you and your family to ensure beautiful flowers for your loved one's service. Whether it be a floral tribute for the urn, a casket spray, standing sprays or floor baskets, we have endless ideas to be sure the floral is everything you hope for, for this day. Customizing floral is our expertise. It may be a favorite flower (availability is based on season), color, or the incorporation of items/mementos that were dear to your loved one. If you find a design elsewhere, send us a photo and we'll work together on important details with any special requests to formulate a quote that fits your price point.

Can we order wedding flowers?

Please do! We LOVE creating stunning bouquets and coordinating boutonnieres, aisle arrangements and arbor installations for our special couple! This is only the tip of the iceberg as to what we can provide for you. We also have items for rent from table runners to potted plants. Our inventory increases as requests are made. Ethereal Designs provides FULL service unless otherwise stated. We securely mount floral installations, set up all wedding floral as well as any other rental items as part of your contract. If you'd prefer "a la carte" service, we can do that too. We'll simply drop off the floral (delivery fee) or you may pick it up curbside and leave the rest to you.

​Do you host any events such as workshops?

​On occasion, we offer workshops that are co-hosted with other businesses and utilized their space for these events. If you'd like a private workshop or event with your friends, let us know! Whether a house warming party, a girls' night together or a birthday party, we will bring the flowers and any items needed for your event. We won't leave you high and dry! We'll create arrangements together with as much support as you feel your guests need! Does a "Bloom Bar" fit your vibe instead? Purchase floral and create with your friends!
